About Us
The Cherry Tree is a family owned and run independent toy shop based in our home town of sunny Southport. It is a real, bricks-and-mortar shop in a traditional style - it even has an old-fashioned bell that rings when you open the door!
As the name suggests, we cherry-pick the items we like from a world-wide range of suppliers with the aim of offering a wide and varied choice of toys and gifts which we hope you will like too. They have been chosen to spark the imagination and delight of children of all ages.
We have forged an enviable reputation locally and beyond for quality, choice, value and customer service.
We specialise in traditional wooden and tin toys, some of which you may remember from your childhood and would like your own children (or grandchildren!) to experience and enjoy. However, alongside them we also offer a vast range of other items to suit all pockets and ages, from a pencil to a pedal car.
We are constantly looking out for new ideas to ensure that our range is always fresh, and we seek out manufacturers, not only British but from all around the world.
Although we are a real, actual shop and would love you to visit us in person, we have decided to offer some of our items (initially just a few, to be expanded later) via the internet for those who are too far away or too busy to.
